The STAZZO LA CERRA  is a typical  local farm of the region of Gallura, located  13 km from TEMPIO PAUSANIA, the historical capital of Gallura, also called “The City Stone”. It is not far from Monte Pulchiana which can be easily reached walking from la Cerra. In the Agriturismo honey is produced and the cattle is kept free in the open, close to  cork trees and megalithic stones of  granite. There is also  a vegetable biological kitchen-garden and a beutiful farmyard with flowers  and various animals. Since 1981 the farm is  managed by the PESENTI Family and in  2001, thanks to the European Communitary Economical Helps for the development of rural areas , started the activity of  the  restaurant with typical food of the Region of Gallura. The Agriturismo La Cerra  is built in the traditional way of “ Stazzo Gallurese”, old local farm and it is surrounded by an interesting nuragic village and by   numerous granite rocks formed by the wind,called “conchi” where the ancient farmers used to rest and to shelter their cattle. For this reason  the location is  excellent for excursions lovers and we organize guided excursions  for groups in the enchanting nature of Gallura. The degree of difficulty and the lenght of the hike can be different depending upon the itinerary. The farm “la Cerra”  is only 20 minutes from the best beaches of northern Sardinia, the nearest is Vignola beach where you can admire  the Torre Saracena and the church of San Silvestro. Another enchanting  beach ,with white sand  and typical for the emerald sea color is Monte Russo beach ,that you can reach in 25 minutes from La Cerra.   DON’T MISS IT!
